Mexico Resort Beach Weddings
You’re a glowing bride-to-be and the big day is almost here. You may have begun to feel a little bit anxious, but not to worry! We are here to help you- preparing for your wedding shouldn’t be a reason to stress.
We know you want to be in control of every single detail and want everything to be perfect, just the way you dreamed it. Now it’s time to relax and chill for a while. You can enjoy your big day without allowing your health and wellness to suffer.
Here’s a list to make it all seem doable:
1. Pamper yourself
It’s time for you to start enjoying your wedding after all that planning. Book yourself a massage or facial; a spa setting can transform your mood as soon as you enter the room. If you don’t have enough time for an appointment, try a hot long bath with your favorite essence and allow the stress to melt away.
Eat properly: have your three meals and several snacks throughout the day. Consume lean proteins, grains, vegetables and healthy fats; snack on some apples, raw nuts, berries, and yogurts. Avoid sugar, white flour, and caffeine. By having better meals your mood will improve and you won’t feel sleepy.
Make sure to get a full eight hours of beauty sleep prior your wedding day. Sleep heals! Plus, you’ll look more than radiant with a natural, well-rested glow. You’ll also be able to stay more focused when reviewing the last details of your event. Wake up fresh and rejuvenated.
4. Drink Water
It doesn’t matter whether you’re getting married in July or mid-December; staying hydrated is important. Some of your pre-wedding activities can leave you with low energy levels, causing you to feel drained. Remember to drink plain water, natural fruit juices or any other hydrating liquid. This will keep you full of energy and help your skin glow like never before.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life- the most important thing to do is ENJOY IT!
After an amazing and romantic proposal, the supermodel Quiana Grant and the Doctor James Pinckney said “I do” at a luxurious resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.
After watching the way Dr. James Pinckney got down on one knee to propose to supermodel Quiana, we were more than excited to witness their wedding ceremony at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit.
Quianas and James’ wedding venue was breathtaking! The sunset shining through the pristine waters, the candlelit setting the tone for a perfect and romantic ceremony, the lovely pink roses guiding to the aisle; we could go on and on with the gorgeous details but we prefer to share with you all how lovely this wedding was.
As she was walking down the aisle the groom’s eyes where full of joy; Quiana was wearing an all-lace dress and strapless gown which was a gorgeous pick, also she kept a natural look -perfect for a wedding in a beach destination; while James looked impeccable in his classic tuxedo along with his best men.
After the “I do’s” it was time to celebrate! The happy couple was able to enjoy with their friends and family a great time full of incredible music and delicious food.
The wedding was a celebration of the love between these two people; they were glowing on happiness. Both share with their guests and fans –on their Instagram accounts- how lucky they felt for having found each other and now they felt even more blessed for having the chance of starting a new beginning together.
Once more we witnessed that love is beautiful- it’s the closest thing we have to perfection that exists in the world. It is the unison of two people as one- Congratulations Quiana and James! We wish you all the best.

Show your Legs
Getting married in a tropical location? Who says you have to wear the typical long gown- this is the time for a non-traditional dress. From tea length to way-above-the-knee, many of our favorite designs are flirty and fun, teasing the traditional bridal look. Are you fearless enough to wear one like this?
Dress up your spring or summer wedding look with a cape or wrap. This garment will give you the ultimate final touch for a classic and elegant look. While you might not need to cover up during a summer day, consider a lace shawl or cape for the same effect.
This season, designers have decided it is as important to have a big entrance as it is to make a dramatic exit; this is why this season features breathtaking backs. If you are looking for something audacious and daring this can be an excellent option. Try low back dresses with buttons, lace detailing or flowers to add an extra something to your bridal look.
We love to wear accessories so what about having a dress that includes creative appliques in several shapes? This season designers chose to include quirky appliques to help you stand out from the crowd on your big day.
Off the Shoulder
This romantic look took over the 2015 collection and it’s easy to understand why; it’s a quintessential princess look that will make you look stunning without having to make too much effort.

You’ve been secretly planning your wedding since you were a little girl and one of the funniest things on your wedding to-do list is choosing the wedding cake. Why? Simply because it involves the tasting of delicious CAKES.
This, however, can be a tricky task. There are several things to consider, including your wedding budget, the design, the flavor and the size. We’re hoping to make your life (and your wedding planning) just a bit easier, which is why we have compiled a few tips to help you pick the perfect wedding cake.
Imagine the cake’s style and design
Search for some wedding cake inspiration; browse the web (Pinterest is a great option) to give you an idea of the presentation options available. These examples will give your cake-maker the best idea of what you’re looking for.
Also, take the location of your wedding reception into consideration; for example, if it’s going to be in a garden during the summer we highly recommend not using a buttercream frosting- chances are it will end up being a melted sugar coating. Make sure your wedding location and predicted temperatures are communicated to the bakery as well- they can then help you plan accordingly.
Plan your cake tastings
Once you have decided what you want and determined your budget, research bakers around your city and schedule your tastings. You should be able to sample several flavors of cake and frosting; you’ll also have the chance to consult with each bakery about the design and the pricing.
P.S. Avoid having all the tastings on the same day; you’ll get tired of eating cake and it will be extra-difficult to decide on the right flavor.
Most importantly: Have tons of fun!
Don’t stress too much about your cake! It is your party and you should enjoy every bit of it, so choose the one you like the best and cross that decision off your list. At the end of the day, the cake will be great, your guests will love it and it will be another detail that adds to the magic of your wedding.
What kind of cake are you having at your wedding?
Forget the rules and be creative on your special day. Try something unique that will allow you to surprise your guests as you update old traditions.
Say “I Do” in the Morning
Having a morning wedding will completely change the atmosphere of your ceremony, making it both fresh and casual. Rise and shine to the morning breeze and slip into the perfect gown.
Guests can arrive between 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and the reception can be a lovely brunch with fresh organic fruit, salads, pancakes, crepes and waffles, iced coffee and mimosas – all served family-style.
The best part is that your attendees will enjoy a friendlier environment where everyone can interact. Since the ceremony ends relatively early, you can spend plenty of time with your new husband afterwards. Linger at the resort, enjoy the activities program, look at your party pictures etc.
Cocktails Before the Ceremony
Hosting the cocktail reception before the wedding ceremony is a great way to kick off an incredible day. If you organize it this way, chances are that guests will feel like family at the reception; you can help avoid those awkward conversations and create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Another benefit is that everyone will be present for the wedding ceremony! Arriving earlier for drinks will encourage your friends and family to move around the area freely. This is definitely an excellent perk for those will be accompanying you on your special day, and a brilliant way of thanking them.
Dance the Night Away
What if you prefer a very small, private wedding ceremony but you want to celebrate and party with all of your friends and family? A great solution is to have a dance party after your ceremony with as many people as you want. You can focus on the music and hire a DJ or even a live band. Everyone will appreciate it and you’ll have a blast with everyone on your guest list!
