1. Visit our Facebook page and “Like” us to participate in the contest. After clicking “Like”, you will be able to access the email address to submit your photo. If you are already a follower of the page, please click on the Wedding Contest tab below our profile picture. You may enter yourself or send a photo of your friends to ensure you’re a lucky guest at their unforgettable wedding!
2. Send us 1 (just one!) creative, original and interesting 1 MB or less photo of you and your significant other and tell us in 50-100 words why you deserve the ultimate wedding and honeymoon in beautiful Mexico, valued at over USD $13,000.00.

3. Velas Resorts will select the top 14 finalists from the submissions and then open up the voting for the First Prize winners to the public. Voting will take place on our Facebook page from March 16th to March 31st, 2011. The Second Prize winners will be selected by the Communications Committee of Velas Resorts, based on the most creative photo entry.

1. Official Terms and Conditions
• The contest titled “Quiero Mi boda En Velas Resorts/ I Want My Wedding at Velas Resorts” is organized by Velas Resorts.
Contest Participants: All residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico may participate. All participants agree to the terms and conditions mentioned here. Participants need only sent a creative photograph of the couple and a 50-100 word description of with the theme “I want my wedding at Velas Resorts”.
Note: Staff members of any of the resorts that belong toVelas Resorts, wont be eligible for winning any of the prizes described above.
• Time frame to participate: The participation period starts on February 14th, 2011 and ends on March 14th, 2011.
• Winners selection:
First prize: 14 finalists will be chosen by the Velas Resorts Communications committee. Voting for first place will take place on a blog post of the wedding site www.velasweddings.com.
Voting Process:The voting will be done through a WildfireTM application. An email will be sent to all participants, informing them of the 14 finalists as well as the dates that the voting will take place. This can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Each participant/voter may vote only once per day.
Voting period: Begins on March 16th, 2011 and ends on March 31st, 2011.
Second Prize: winner will be chosen by the Velas Resorts Communication Committee from the entire entry pool, awarding the most original photo.

2. Second Prize: Honeymoon for the bride and groom at Velas Vallarta (4 days, 3 nights).
• Valid dates to redeem First Prize: The time period to hold the wedding and honeymoon awarded to the First Prize winner will be June 15th, 2011 to December 15th. Reservations must be made 30 days in advance calling to: 1-866-495-9902
• Valid dates to redeem Second Prize: The time period to redeem the honeymoon awarded to the Second Prize winner will be until December 15th, 2011. Reservations must be made 30 days in advance calling to: 1-866-495-9902
• Contest Participant Responsibility: Contest Participants declare and guarantee that the information and material, including the participation forms are their property and authorship. Contest Participants accept and guarantee that they will indemnify and hold harmless Velas Resorts with respect to: any third party claim or allegation of ownership regarding the Material submitted and/or any type of damage sustained by a third party for the publication or commercialization of said Material.
• Winner Notification: Winners will be notified and published on the velasweddings blog, facebook and twitter profiles by Monday, April 4th, 2011. They will also be announced on the wedding site http://www.velasweddings.com. If, despite these reasonable efforts made by Velas Resorts the Prize Winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days of the first attempt, the Winner will forfeit the Prize and another winner will be chosen among the finalists.
• Participation Information: All persons interested in participating in the Contest may view contest information by visiting the Velas Weddings site where the contest, rules and requirements will be described.
• General Conditions: When a contest participant submits their information, the photo, description and all ideas may be used by Velas Resorts. If rights to the material cannot be ceded in conformity with the terms of this clause, the Contest Participant is obliged to accept any alternative procedure that that may be required to comply with the clause. Contest Participants agree to cede any and all rights, including the right, if there were any, to sue for any ambiguity or error in the Official Rules or for any element of the Contest and agree to submit to and comply with these Official Rules and the decisions made by Velas Resorts. Decisions made by Velas Resorts are final, binding and not appealable in any aspect. Any person who attempts (through any means) to defraud Velas Resorts in any form will lose their status as a Contest Participant, will not be able to submit a new registration or entry, and will not be eligible for any prize. Contest prizes are not combinable with any other promotions, other Velas Resort contests, or sponsor contests.
• Release of responsibility for Commercialization/Publicidad. At the moment the Winner receives their prize, they cede instantly all rights of their participation (photograph and description) for future use by Velas Resorts. If the Contest Winner refuses to sign these documents they may be disqualified and lose the right to receive their Prize. Velas Resorts may use the name, photograph and biographical information, address (city, state and country) of the Winner for worldwide commercial/publicity purposes in various media forms (including web pages).
• If the prize is not claimed within the prescribed time frame, or if the Winner is disqualified and loses their right to receive their Prize, the Prize may be awarded to a Contest Participant designated by the Velas Resorts Committee as an alternate Winner.
• Prize Relinquishment/Unclaimed Prize: Velas Resorts will not be responsible if for any reason the Winner cannot receive their Prize or if the Prize Winner relinquishes the right to accept the prize. In either case the Prize Winner loses all rights that they could have had related to their Prize. Prizes have no cash value and may not be exchanged for any monetary amount. Prize value may not be applied to any prior or existing reservation or wedding at Velas Resorts. May not be combined with any other any other promotion or contest winnings.
• Official Rules: Upon participating in the contest, Contest Participants accept the Official Contest Rules and their participation in it implies that they are aware of, accept and submit to these Official Rules.
• Responsibility: Contest Participants accept that Velas Resorts, the contest sponsors, the Contest Entities, it’s affiliates and subsidiaries, legal counsel, shareholder, agentes, jury, employees and/or representatives will not be held responsable for any losses or damages of any form that result in the acceptance of the Prize and/or participation in the contest.

Términos y condiciones oficiales:
El concurso titulado “Quiero Mi boda En Velas Resorts/ I Want My Wedding In Velas Resort” es organizado por Velas Resorts.
Concursantes: podrán participar en el Concurso todas las personas residentes de: Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. Se entenderá como los Concursantes las personas que participen en el Concurso conforme a los términos y condiciones aquí previstas. Las bases para participar serán publicadas en la página de facebook: www.facebook.com/grandvelasresort
Nota: Este concurso no aplica para los colaboradores de Velas Resorts.
• Plazo para concursar: Da inicio el día 14 de febrero y finaliza el día 14 de Marzo del 2011.
Primer lugar: El Comité de Comunicación de Velas Resorts elegirá a 14 finalistas de entre todos los participantes. La votación para el primer lugar será realizada en el sitio de bodas www.velasweddings.com, por medio de una aplicación de WildfireTM. Se les enviará un correo a todos los participantes, dándoles aviso de los 14 finalistas además de las fechas para dicha votación. Los finalistas podrán compartir en Facebook y twitter para invitar a amigos y seguidores a que voten por su foto. Cada persona que desee votar, podrá hacerlo una vez al día, teniendo acceso a votar nuevamente al día siguiente.
• Plazo para votar. Las votaciones darán inicio el día 16 de marzo y finalizarán el 31 de marzo del 2011.
Segundo lugar: El ganador del segundo premio será elegido por el Comité de Comunicación de Velas Resorts de entre todos los participantes, premiando la foto más original (no será incluida la foto ganadora del primer premio).

Vigencia:
• Vigencia del primer lugar. El periodo para realizar la boda del primer lugar será a partir del mes de Junio 15 al 15 de Diciembre del 2011, reservando con 30 días de anticipación al teléfono 01-800-831-1162.
• Vigencia del segundo lugar. El periodo para realizar la luna de miel del segundo lugar será a partir del 15 de Junio al 15 de diciembre del 2011, reservando con 30 días de anticipación al teléfono 01-800-831-1162.
• Responsabilidad del concursante: Los Concursantes declaran y garantizan que la información y material que envíen para participar son de su propiedad y autoría. Los Concursantes aceptan y garantizan que mantendrán indemne a Velas Resorts respecto de: cualquier reclamación por parte de terceros que aleguen tener algún derecho sobre el Material; y/o cualquier tipo de perjuicio que sufra un tercero por la publicación o comercialización del Material.
• Notificación ganador. Los ganadores se darán a conocer y se publicarán el día 01 de Abril del 2011 en el blog de velasweddings, en los perfiles de las redes sociales de faceboook y twitter . También serán anunciado en el sitio de bodas http://www.velasweddings.com. Si, a pesar de los esfuerzos razonables efectuados por Velas Resorts no se puede contactar al ganador del premio dentro de los cinco (5) días contados a partir del primer intento de notificación, el Ganador perderá su premio, y Velas Resorts podrá elegir un ganador alterno dentro de los 14 mejores finalistas.
• Información de participación: Todas las personas interesadas en participar en el Concurso podrán ver la información del mismo visitando el sitio de Bodas Velas Resorts www.velasweddings.com en blog post. Aquí estará descrito el concurso, los premios, las reglas y los requisitos. Será necesario que los participantes sean seguidores de las páginas en facebook y twitter de los hoteles de Velas Resorts.
• Condiciones Generales: Al someter su foto, texto e ideas, los participantes aceptan que Velas Resorts haga uso de ellas para los intereses de promoción, mercadotecnia, publicidad que a la empresa convengan. En caso de que la cesión de derechos no sea posible de conformidad con los términos de esta cláusula, el Concursante se obliga a aceptar cualquier fórmula alternativa que sea requerida para alcanzar tal finalidad. Los Concursantes acuerdan renunciar a todos y cada uno de los derechos, incluyendo el de reclamar cualquier ambigüedad o error en las presentes Reglas Oficiales o por cualquier elemento del Concurso, y acuerdan someterse a estas Reglas Oficiales y a las decisiones de Velas Resorts, las cuales son finales, obligatorias e inapelables en todos los aspectos. Cualquier persona que intente (por cualquier medio) defraudar a Velas Resorts en el Concurso en cualquier forma perderá su condición de Concursante del Concurso y no podrá someterse a un nuevo registro y participación y no será elegible para ningún Premio. Este concurso no es acumulable con otras promociones o concursos de Velas Resorts o de cualquiera de los patrocinadores.
• Liberación de responsabilidad para Comercialización/ Publicidad: Al recibir su Premio, El Ganador automáticamente cede todos los derechos de su participación (fotografía y descripción) para futuro uso para Velas Resorts. De lo contrario, dicho Concursante Ganador podrá ser descalificado y perderá el derecho a recibir su Premio. Velas Resorts podrá utilizar su fotografía, texto e ideas, así como información básica como nombre y ubicación (ciudad, estado y país) para propósitos de comercialización/publicidad mundial, en todos los medios (incluyendo los sitios o páginas Web en Internet).
Si el premio no se reclama oportunamente; o si el ganador es descalificado, entonces el premio se podrá entregar a un Concursante que se designe como ganador alterno determinado por el comité de Velas Resorts.
• Renuncia del Premio/Premio no reclamado: Velas Resorts no será responsable si el Ganador no puede recibir su Premio por causas distintas o acontecimientos de fuerza mayor o si renuncia al derecho de aceptarlo, perdiendo en ambos casos todos los derechos que pudiera tener en relación con su Premio. Los premios no tienen valor comercial y no pueden ser intercambiados por ninguna cantidad monetaria. Los premios no podrán aplicarse a una reservación previa o existente en Velas Resorts y no son intercambiables. Los premios no se pueden acumular con ninguna otra promoción o premio de concursos.
• Reglas Oficiales: Por el solo hecho de participar, los Concursantes aceptan las Reglas Oficiales del Concurso y su participación en el mismo implicará que tienen conocimiento, aceptan y se someten a estas Reglas Oficiales.
• Responsabilidad: Los Concursantes acuerdan que Velas Resorts, los patrocinadores, las Entidades del Concurso, sus afiliadas y subsidiarias, así como sus consejeros, accionistas, agentes, jurado, empleados y/o representantes no serán responsables por las pérdidas, daños y/o perjuicios de cualquier tipo que resulten de la aceptación del Premio y/o de la participación en el concurso.
